BONDAN

Bondan always starts forest school sessions with great enthusiasm. Her health is in good condition, and her eating habits remain stable without any significant changes. This week, she has been spending more time in forest school, continuing her behavioral rehabilitation sessions.

That day, the weather in Jerora was perfect for forest school activities. Although slightly overcast, the atmosphere in the forest remained cool and pleasant for the orangutans. In the morning, Bondan began her exploration energetically, heading straight to the middle canopy of the trees, her favorite spot for foraging fresh young leaves.

During her exploration, Bondan preferred to be on her own, spending time searching for food without much interaction with the other orangutans. She was focused on her task, foraging for young leaves around the trees, savoring each find slowly as she independently roamed through the forest.

In the morning, Bondan often explored alone, enjoying the peace and concentrating on her journey. However, by midday, Joss approached her. While Joss loved to play, Bondan was more inclined to focus on her activities, but the two were often seen together, whether searching for food or exploring the forest.

At one point, Bondan and Joss were in the middle canopy of the trees. After a while, Bondan descended to the forest floor and made her way to the sturdy roots of a large tree. There, she began digging the soil with her strong hands, hunting for ant nests. Joss, always excited and playful, followed Bondan. But Bondan remained indifferent, focused on her hunt. With agility, Bondan pulled ants and termites from the cracks in the tree bark. This activity absorbed her attention so much that time passed by without her noticing.

By noon, Bondan and Joss resumed their exploration, this time to search for lunch. They swung from branch to branch, climbing the lush middle canopy. The fresh young leaves served as a delicious meal for both of them. Occasionally, they would rest on the branches, enjoying the tranquility of the forest before continuing their adventure.

Later in the day, Bondan descended again to the forest floor and returned to the large tree that had provided her with food earlier. The tree seemed to offer an abundance of food, keeping Bondan content in its vicinity. However, their adventure was cut short. As the afternoon approached, the sky darkened, and storm clouds gathered above the Jerora forest. Soon after, a heavy rain showered the forest. Bondan quickly sought shelter under the large leaves in the tree canopy, trying to shield herself from the sudden rain.
