BANIR

In front of the cage of Banir and her mother, Benazir, a new cage construction project is underway. The workers’ activities seem to capture their attention. In her unique style, Benazir is often seen lying flat on the cage floor, watching the workers, while Banir lies on her back, observing the activities with great curiosity.

Outside of these observation moments, Banir is active and playful in her cage. While Benazir appears indifferent, Banir entertains herself by swinging and hanging on the hammock. When the animal keepers are nearby, Banir often approaches them with her mischievous antics, as if inviting them to play. Occasionally, Banir can still be seen nursing from Benazir, highlighting the strong bond between mother and child.

However, Benazir’s mischievous behavior also influences Banir. Benazir has pried apart the wooden platform in front of their cage, damaging several sections of it. Banir joins in, although her strength isn’t as great as her mother’s. As a result, the wooden platform now requires immediate repair.

Banir’s health is excellent. She eats heartily and is often seen enjoying her meals atop her favorite hammock. There’s no sign of Benazir trying to take Banir’s food. On the contrary, if her food runs out, Banir often approaches Benazir to ask for a share of her meal.

The warm interactions between Banir and Benazir, along with Banir’s curiosity and playfulness, reflect their vibrant daily life in the social cage.
